Data available here is extracted from ICANN monthly registries reports available on http://www.icann.org/tlds/monthly-reports/. These reports are published 3 months after their creation, but contain full information coming straight from the registries, instead of being an extrapolation done from a statistical sample extracted from zonefiles updated daily as it is done in most of the other studies.

You can find below 3 tables with .CAT registrars ordered by their number of deletes done, first during the last known month, then during the last 12 months, and finally over all registry data.
A high number of deletes, especially compared to the number of domain names handled, probably shows that the registrar in question participates in « domain tasting » efforts, meaning that it registers domain names and delete them before 5 days (a delay long enough to gauge the domain name popularity), so that the registry will not bill the registrar for this operation.
